A star shines bright above,
The darkness lurks below,
Love rises to the moon,
A feeling, sweet and slow.
Hand-in-hand, the pair did walk,
The snow continued to fall,
The Northern Lights sparkled high,
From somewhere comes last call.
The last maple leaf had fallen,
The last drop of wine was drank,
But love still goes on and on,
As each shooting star sank.
Winter was meant for lovers,
The happiest time of year,
The Northern Lights still shine bright,
So fill the world with cheer.
